Our Mission
The Italian American Future Leaders (IAFL) is
dedicated to uniting and empowering the next
generation of Italian American changemakers
through dynamic conventions, immersive cultural
experiences, and collaborative think tank
conversations.
Our mission is to foster lasting
bonds among young professionals, deepen their
understanding of Italian heritage, and inspire them
to lead with purpose in their communities.
By connecting attendees with influential leaders,
offering mentorship, and encouraging innovative
dialogue, IAFL cultivates a vibrant network
committed to preserving tradition, celebrating
identity, and creating meaningful impact across
the Italian American diaspora.
The Weekend
The IAFL weekend kicks off with badge pick-up and gift bag distribution,
followed by a lively welcome reception where Fellows and Alumni connect
and mingle over cocktails.
During the weekend, attendees are transported by private bus to and from
the Florida Panthers Stadium for a full day of inspiring sessions, dynamic
workshops, and exclusive evening entertainment.
The momentum continues with a high-energy closing party featuring
karaoke and plenty of fun. All ground transportation, meals, and
entertainment are generously provided.

Lasting Impacts of IAFL
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, IAFL is proud to welcome over 100
Fellows each year to experience a weekend like no other. From the moment
Fellows land in South Florida, IAFL covers it all—hotel accommodations,
meals and beverages, ground transportation, and exclusive entertainment.
Returning Alumni also receive full weekend access, with the exception of lodging.
Our goal is to strengthen and expand the Italian American network by
uniting young professionals ages 21–35. This annual gathering is more than
just a convention—it’s a celebration of heritage, a launchpad for lifelong
friendships, and even the start of love stories (yes, marriages have formed!).
Most importantly, IAFL empowers the next generation of Italian Americans to
become more knowledgeable about their heritage, ensuring that our
traditions, culture, and leadership remain strong in communities across the
country.
