IAFL Fellow Application

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for participation in IAFL3, candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 35 years old and demonstrate a genuine interest in preserving and promoting Italian American heritage and culture.

Competitive Selection Process:

The IAFL selection process is highly competitive as space is limited. Submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance.

Selection Criteria: 

The Selection Committee will review applications and assess candidates based on various factors, including leadership potential, volunteer experience, communication skills, and more. Within your application, we encourage you to provide detailed and thoughtful responses to demonstrate your qualifications.

Word Limits:

When completing your application, please adhere to the specified word limits for each response.

Application Deadline:

Applications are due by Friday, October 4, 2024. Late applications will not be considered.

Notification of Acceptance:

All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decisions in November 2024. Please keep a lookout for this important update in your email!

Accepted Fellows Responsibilities:

All expenses including hotel room reservations, convention costs, food and beverage, special events, and transportation during the IAFL weekend will be covered by the generous donations of our IAFL co-founders. Fellows are responsible for arranging and covering their own air and ground travel expenses to and from the convention. Directions and airport details will be provided to accepted Fellows via email.

Note that a $25 non-refundable application fee is required to complete your submission.
