Mark your calendars and clear your schedules because the Italian American Future Leaders (IAFL) Annual Conference is just around the corner, and it’s going to be another unforgettable event!
The Second Annual IAFL Conference (IAFL2) will take place from January 12-15, 2024, once again held in Sunrise, FL at the newly renamed Amerant Bank Arena. The 3-night, 4-day conference will welcome the nation’s best and brightest Italian American men and women (ages 21- 35).
This year, IAFL is taking it up a notch, and seeing to build on its first annual success with even more collaborative sessions, keynote seminars inspired by our work last year, themed banquets, and, of course, another chance to root on the Florida Panthers as they take on the NJ Devils.
Fellows Eligibility

The IAFL2 Fellows Application is open to Italian American men and women (ages 21-35).

Individuals who apply must wish to promote the Italian American culture and elevate their standing in the community.

Limited space available for new, non-alumni applicants.
Fellows Pricing & Details

Virtually all expenses, including hotel stays, high-end meals and premium entertainment, will be covered by more than $200,000 in grants and funding obtained by COPOMIAO President Basil M. Russo and IAFL Conference Chair and President John M. Viola.

The only cost attendees will incur are their flight/travel expenses to and from the hotel, which can be paid for by them or the Italian American organization that sponsors them.

Travel dates are Friday and Monday. The conference and its programs are held Saturday and Sunday.

Alumni Eligibility

To be considered for participation in IAFL2 as an Alumni, you must have attended the inaugural IAFL in 2023 (all registrations will be carefully reviewed).

You must actively demonstrate a commitment to preserving and promoting Italian American heritage and culture.

The Alumni selection process is first come, first serve as space is limited. Submission of this registration does not guarantee acceptance.

After an Alumni registration is approved and accepted, a non-refundable $100 fee must be paid.

Attendees are responsible for covering their flight/travel expenses to and from the hotel, which can be self-funded or sponsored by the Italian American organization supporting them.

Proposals deadline is December 15, 2023.
IAFL invites you to submit a proposal for an engaging and interactive session tailored for passionate Italian Americans coming together to further celebrate their shared culture.
Proposals should center around themes pertinent to Italian and Italian American heritage. Session availability is limited, and IAFL can only accommodate a select number of presenters.
